Worked with HC Middle School's School Leadership (SLT) and School Improvement (SIT) Teams on re-evaluating our school's mission, vision, and core values
Worked with teachers and staff members in investigating the results of the 2012 NC Teacher Working Conditions Survey, and how to improve our school's areas of challenge in way that aligns with our strategic goals
Worked with the HC Administrative Team in the Advanced Ed Accreditation process.
Developed personal educational vision statement
Developed and distributed letter of introduction to the staff
Analyzed internship school vision and mission with mentor principal and select teachers as part of Distinguished Leaders in Practice

Teachers created & presented a Planning and Implementation Guide for Administrators at HCMS. Administration took these suggestions and put them into action.

Collaborated with HCMS Administrative Team to review the School Improvement Plan and implement the plan within the school.
Collaborated with the School Improvement Team to create the Technology Plan and the Technology Fair showcasing HCMS technology.
Proficient: Works with others to create opportunities for staff to demonstrate leadership skills by empowering them to assume leadership and decision-making roles; works with others to encourage teachers and support staff to assume leadership and decision-making roles in the school.
